With over 30 years’ of experience our consultants have performed WHS roles both in corporate and operational environments within a diverse range of industries, with experience spanning facilities and asset management within the resource sector and hotel industry, as well as within local government, including building and maintaining infrastructure such as roads, stormwater and drainage, construction of facilities, as well as experience in water and wastewater industry, coal mining, defence, policing, forestry, rail and transport & logistics.

With over two decades of experience in strategic leadership and risk management, and a graduate member of the Institution of Safety and Health, James has made his mark in various organisations across Australia and the United Kingdom, spanning both public and private sectors. Drawing from a solid foundation in the UK military and the police, he has excelled in both corporate and operational roles, earning a reputation as a trusted leader.
James has left an indelible impact on a diverse range of industries, including hospitality, facilities and asset management in the resources sector, and local government. Notably, he has spearheaded significant cultural shifts in organisations, driving a heightened focus on health and safety and led the health response to the COVID-19 pandemic within a large local government. His innovative strategies and meticulous implementation have yielded tangible and positive outcomes, enabling businesses to achieve their objectives while effectively mitigating risks.
