Alma Solutions specialises in health, safety and security risk management services. With over 40 years of experience, our consultants have performed WHS and security risk management roles in both corporate and operational environments across a diverse range of industries. Their experience spans facilities and asset management in the resources sector and the hotel industry, as well as within local government. This includes building and maintaining infrastructure such as roads, stormwater and drainage systems, and the construction of facilities. It also covers water supply and wastewater treatment, coal mining, defence, policing, forestry, rail, and transport and logistics.

James Mayhew
James is a dynamic and accomplished health and safety professional with an unwavering commitment to delivering solutions to managing risk. With over two decades of experience in strategic leadership and risk management, and a certified member of the Institution of Safety and Health, James has made his mark in various organisations across Australia and the United Kingdom, spanning both public and private sectors. Drawing from a solid foundation as a Commando Soldier in the British Armed Forces, progressing to policing as a Special Police Constable with the British Transport Police, and the health, safety and private security sector. He has excelled in both corporate leadership and operational roles in large organisations, earning a reputation as a trusted leader.
James has left an indelible impact on a diverse range of industries, including hospitality, facilities and asset management in the resources sector, and local government. He has extensive experience in health, safety and security risk management within government and private sector roles, with particular expertise in protective security, security of critical infrastructure, and the Australian Protective Security Policy Framework. Notably spearheading significant cultural shifts in organisations, driving a heightened focus on health and safety and leading the internal incident management team within a large local government. His innovative strategies and meticulous implementation have yielded tangible and positive outcomes, enabling businesses to achieve their objectives while effectively mitigating risks.
James now provides high level consultancy, helping clients manage and improve health, safety and security risk management across a wide range of industries. His approach is shaped by extensive operational and strategic experience.

James Druery
James is a health and safety professional with over 17 years of experience across various industries. He has held senior leadership roles within large, complex organisations, demonstrating expertise in developing strategic plans for health and safety and implementing effective management systems.
Throughout his career, James has worked in dynamic and fast-paced environments, developing initiatives to address health and safety challenges and leading teams to meet key deliverables, such as organisation-wide WHS Strategies and certification, including National Self-Insurer Audits, Office of Federal Safety Commission accreditation and ISO45001. He has extensive experience in local government and the resources sector and asset management, forestry, transport and logistics, including heavy vehicle national law.
James has consistently met and supported the operational needs of organisations, ensuring seamless alignment with both business and health and safety objectives.
